A: You need to recreate your Avatar using the new Avatar SMS application. To recover previous received Avatar SMS, please refer to Q3.

Q3: How can I recover previous Avatar SMS messages from strange encoded characters, and display them as proper Avatar SMS messages?

A: You can run the recovery function from any Avatar SMS message compose window. Then all your previous avatar SMS messages can be shown properly.

Q4: After I upgraded my Avatar SMS application, my friends say they cannot read my Avatar SMS message?

Your friends need to upgrade to the new Avatar SMS application too. They can visit our website or you can SMS to tell them.

Q5: Why are the avatars in my received avatar SMS messages showing “blue” item shadows?

A: This is because your friend’s avatar is using items e.g. face, clothes, hair etc that are missing in your own Avatar SMS application. You can always go to our website to download & install Avatar plugin for add on new items.

Q6: Why is an error message displayed when I try to install the Avatar SMS application?

A: You must ensure that the previous Avatar SMS application is already uninstalled and the Messaging application is not running at the moment.
