Thu Tran

Artist and creator of the show Food Party which has now been picked up by TV networks for its quirky, playful, plush food characters and dreamlike cooking sequences.

Thu is an artist who works across a range of media - she's writing a cookbook, makes props and creates the visuals for musician Girl Talk. She is an illustrator, writes a blog, and loves food. Her food is as much about art and colour as cooking and her quirky imagination influences everything she does.

Thu makes all the props for her IFC show Food Party which she also stars in. She started the show online which has now built up a cult following and receives some amusing and unusual fan emails. She lives in Brooklyn, and does most of her work from home. Her Nseries Portrait focuses on her work as an artist and quirky chef and how tech and particularly the N97 can be used as a tool for inspiration, creation and promotion.
